A wee bit of background
Ness Soaps was founded in 2006 by a group of local people from the Merkinch Community in Inverness. Our mission is twofold - to make quality, locally produced hand crafted soaps and to offer opportunities to disadvantaged members of the community in a workplace environment. Since then Ness Soaps has grown and we now employ 2 full time and 1 part time staff and offer part time voluntary work placements to 19 adults who either have a learning or physical disability or who are long term unemployed. We offer opportunities for people to come and learn, develop their skills, work as part of a team and contribute something to the Community (and of course - have fun!!). All of our staff and volunteers are really proud of our organisation and we really want you to enjoy our products. We use only natural essential oils to fragrance our soaps - none of our products are tested on animals nor do we use any ingredients that are tested on animals.
Ness Soaps will be out and about at the following events - we look forward to seeing you! Our products make a fabulous choice for gifts and stocking fillers!
